~~Panther Roar Charms~~
This year at Fairfield, we all have the charm :) Students will earn numerous charms throughout the year based on their ROAR abilities. We will continue to add to students' charms with a few extras this year! Our Panther ROAR stands for:
R - Respectful
O - Orderly
A - Attentive
R - Role model
Students should ROAR throughout the school day. They can ROAR in so many places including the classroom, hallway, art room, cafeteria and even the bathroom! A designated charm can be earned throughout the year by ROARing in various ways. For example: meeting a reading/math goal earns a different charm than ROARing in the cafeteria. We hope to continue to expand our Panther ROAR Charms and build the excitement!
Even with the charms we are still a bucket filling school!

Have you filled a bucket today?
What is bucket filling?
Each and every person has their own invisible bucket that they carry around with them wherever they go. Our buckets have such a wonderful purpose. Each person’s bucket holds their good thoughts and the good feelings they have about themselves. When our buckets are full we feel happy and good, but when our buckets are empty we feel sad and lonely.
How can we keep our buckets filled?
This part is easy, we can fill buckets by being kind to someone else, showing a smile, or by simply saying “please” and “thank-you” and that is only to name a few! The best part is when we fill someone else’s bucket we fill ours too!
How do our buckets get emptied?
This is called bucket dipping. Our good feelings and thoughts can be dipped by someone saying or doing mean things that make us feel bad and if we dip someone else’s bucket our bucket gets emptied too.
