I am so ecstatic to be back for my 7th year, here at Fairfield Elementary. I greatly look forward to working with the wonderful group of teachers and staff. All the supportive family members make my job much easier and benefit your child, so thank you very much! Truly, the students here at Fairfield make my job as counselor one of the most rewarding experiences I could ask for. This year I plan on continuing to educate, comfort, guide, and mediate for all students. My lessons will hopefully be memorable for the students, so that they can take those powerful lessons with them as they grow! Everyone has the ability to be a leader, but the choice is theirs on how they lead!
My life has always been so much fun! This past summer was no different, as we got to spend it with our son, Hayden. My family includes my wife Jen, my son Hayden, and our dog Frankie. We spent a lot of time at the zoo, went to the beach (Myrtle and The Dominican), and of course enjoyed playing and reading with Hayden all summer.
I have many loves in my life other than my wife and son. Theater has always been a major part of who I am. I find acting and singing to be a great adrenaline rush. I have been involved in theater since I was in fourth grade and it has created such a confidence within me to talk to others and enjoy each new situation.
I love to play sports and watch sports. I am a big Buckeye (O-H-I-O), Cleveland Indians, Dallas Cowboys fan. Fall is the best time of the year, school starts again and so does football. My favorite athlete is surely Lebron James, even though he went to LA :( I try to stay healthy by exercising daily, which we all know can be difficult.
My education background starts with Northwest State Community College where I then transferred to Defiance College, where I met most of my best friends! I graduated in 2008 from DC with a Social Work degree. I was a social worker for a couple years and then decided to continue to pursue higher education at Bowling Green State University. I graduated from BGSU in 2012 with my Masters in School Counseling (M.Ed) and landed this amazing job here at Fairfield a few months later.
